What are these hair transplant techniques?
In a hair transplant treatment, there are two different methodological options for graft extraction. They are Strip Harvesting Method (used in Follicular Unit Transplant) and Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE).

The strip harvesting method leaves a scar. That is why Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) is nowadays preferred over FUT for better results and no scars whatsoever. The methods used for channel opening and implantation may vary. But, all of them can be classified as different methods under FUE.
Direct Hair Implantation (DHI), and Sapphire FUE Hair Transplant are also offered as hair transplant procedures.
